Tiling Services We take great pride in our work, from providing the initial estimate to ensuring you are satisfied with the final results. Here, we describe what you can expect from us: How much, how long, how hard …? Michael
in person, and where appropriate, with his associates, will make an
initial assessment of your requirement, talk you through any suggestions
for improving the result and then subsequently provide you with a quote,
all at no cost to you, the customer. Typically
this quote will cover the labour charges, grout, adhesives and other
ancillary items which will be itemised.
It will generally not include the supply of the tiles themselves,
as it is our experience that customers prefer to select their tiles
from all available suppliers rather than being tied to a restricted
list, as other home improvement companies may do. It’s your decision! We
urge you to be happy with the quote we will have given you.
If you wish to discuss anything then call us and we will be pleased
to discuss any questions you have. If
you decide to use Carters Home Improvements then we will discuss and
agree when the work will be done.
This may need to be co-ordinated with other suppliers (of course
if you use our associates then we will do that for you). Also,
you will need to purchase your tiles.
We can assist by providing accurate measuring and assessments
of tile layouts (particularly to minimise any visual impact of half
tiles etc). This way you
can ensure you don’t overspend on tiles, whilst also avoiding the problem
of ordering extra tiles which may be from a different batch. Work to rely on! In
essence we are honest and genuine, so what you see is what you get –
no flannel! We
will agree a start date and we also aim to undertake a job from start
to finish with no gaps – we don’t do a days work and then disappear
for a week whilst we finish the previous job – that’s not our style. If
there is a lot of rubbish to dispose of then we will organise a skip
so that you are not left with piles of rubbish in your garden.
Of course if you would rather dispose of the rubbish yourself,
then that’s fine. Will
we bring all our own tools, covers for your bathroom suite/kitchen/furniture
so we are mostly self sufficient – all we ask for is a regular supply
of tea and coffee! A “photo” finish! Once
we have completed the work, we will ask you to review the work and if
there is anything that is incorrect then we will sort it out. We want you to be proud of your room and hopefully keen to
have a photo and perhaps a customer comment included on this website. We
are convinced that you will be pleased with the result so please tell
your friends and family – a website like this is good but we get most
of our trade from personnel recommendations. |
